Car Show, carnival, and an evil tree

We went to the Car Show in Santa Clara for Swiss Days.
Jacob loved seeing the cars, almost as much Bruce did.
This is seed pods from a tree in Idaho they are very evil
looking and they hurt to they can poke like a needle.

This was taken at the kids School Carnival they have for
Ivins heritage days. I thought it turned out cool-it was taken with
my phone but it looks like a t.v. show where someone is dreaming.

Jacob demanded I take his picture in front of this truck
at the Car Show.

Unsure if you can see it well or not but I like the truck with the black
flames even the air filter was painted the same as the truck.

Sariah is posing for the camera here.
It looks like she is dancing

We went to the Rodeo Parade
we had fun--it was a long parade

Waiting for parade to start
There were tons of people there

FACE PAINTING

Rebecca was angry because she got
these painted on her face Saturday night.
We told her she could not go to church with
them on and had to wash them off the
next morning. I told her I would take a picture of
them. And she was still sad. This one is a dragon

This one is a butterfly

Family Pictures 2009

These were taken by my wonderful friend
Jamie Warden. They were taken at Tuacahn.

Sariah started to get ornery and tired
toward the end but we had fun and
got some nice pictures
before she started crying

I will never forget

May the Flag of Freedom Forever Wave

9/11 was a day I don't think anyone will ever forget.

I was pregnant with Mitzy and I didn't want to bring her

into such a terrible world. I wanted her to have a good world

to come in to. Then I remembered that this generation I was

bringing into the world was prepared for this time to come, and

that God was watching over all of us. Sometimes we may not think

that but he sure is. I have heard of several people who should have

died but didn't. The people that died that day will always be true

heroes in my book. Grateful to the Soldiers and Firemen and grateful

most of all to still live in a free country with my family and friends.

Playing dress up

So my girls use to like to play dress up.
One day they walked in with their cousin
Drayden (who is a boy) dressed up. I was
laughing it was pretty cute and he even let me
take his picture. He is quite the little character.
I think my girls might have ganged up on him a
little bit too. They had fun though.

Beautiful Shoshone Falls

Shoshone Falls by XLphotog.

Idaho was Fun. I left my oldest daughter with one of my sisters and

My middle two kids with another sister. I went with Sariah-Bruce and my mom

We got there Friday night at 10 p.m. Saturday we cleaned more of the basement and took

two F350 long bed truck loads of stuff to DI. Sunday we just relaxed and took a drive to Twin

falls where we saw ShoshoneFalls, and it was beautiful. We also went and took a look at the

Twin Falls Temple. Smaller Temple, but beautiful. Monday we drove home. We had fun going

through the things in the basement, brought back a lot of memories for my husband.

Oweee that had to have hurt

I have a sleep walker and each morning I wake up
hoping that I will find her in her bed.
One morning I woke up and she said mom
my lip hurts. I think what happened was
that she fell over a toy by her door and split
her lip open--unsure though. After this incident
I got scared and called her doctor-he gave me some stuff
to put on her lip and told me just to be sure that the
path was clear of any toys or items that she walks
during the day--haven't had any more mishaps yet.
Sorry about the blur but this was when Sariah
had to have stitches. She was climbing up the bunk
bed ladder, fell off backwards, and hit her head on the
corner of the bottom bed. It was so deep we had to
have stitches-4--holding her down was not fun at all.

This happened when we were at my Mom's house
when she lived in Moapa. Mitzy was carrying her down
the stairs outside and dropped her on her head.
Now it won't be a lie if I ever tell her she was dropped
on her head as a child. I am sure there will be many
more owies to come with my little monkey children.
