SUMMER FUN!!!!

We have had a lot of fun this Summer and
the best thing is--it is not over yet.
Starting out--Mitzy had her baptism and Becca wanted
to wear her white dress the Sunday after with Mitzy,
although these two are opposite in every way,
which makes it so they fight a lot.
The older they get the closer
and closer

and closer they become:)

A few days later, Bruce's brother Jame's and his
family came up from Texas to see us!
This is Jacob with James and Heidi's youngest
son Sam--what a cutie he is!!!!!

We went to the Main Street Splash Pad with them!
Jame's and Heidi's middle child Eliza is between
Rebecca and Sariah, she is a doll!

I think Jacob and Sariah are praying that the bad river won't come
again and wash us away!lol. Unsure what they are doing
here, but the picture was cute!

Sam was crawling through the river part of the splash pad,
he loved the water.

Charity is Jame's and Heidi's oldest girl and she is the spitting
image of Rebecca when she was her age--personality and all.
She has the same, hair, eyes, and body build as Rebecca when
she was younger.

My sister Connie called one day and said let's go
to Sand Hollow Reservoir. Okay I said--Bruce was at scout camp for
3 days so we went--we packed up all the camp chairs and brought some
treats and we had so much fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mitzy Eating snacks at Sand Hollow.

Kids trying their best to build a sand castle at Sand Hollow.

My Friend had a bunch of baby kittens and gave us one.
The kids taught it (Hissy Fit is it's name) how to use the doggy door.lol. Any way
Jake was playing trains with Hissy Fit and Jake went to bed
after about 1 hour. I think that Hissy Fit still wanted to play trains,
she went and layed on top of Jake's train tracks and fell asleep.
The next day I showed Jake the picture of the kitty sleeping on his
tracks, so he went and found the kitty and started playing trains again
with her. It was so cute, I thought what a good heart that my son has.
Jacob found a toy rubberband gun at a yard sale and loves it.
His daddy gave him the sun glasses. What a handsome boy!

We have some neighbors whom we call the Karn's family.
They have always been really nice to us, and they invited
us to their family reunion at Gunlock reservior. We had so
much fun!
They had a boat and a tube--the kids and Bruce went out on it.
The kids thought that the tube was fun until it tipped over,
then they didn't want to get on it anymore.
The water was a little bit cold.

Sariah hates the water--here is the story why.
When She was about 2 years old Bruce and I decided to take
the Family to the new Washington Recreation Center. Those of you
who have not been there--this huge bucket that holds aobut 500 gallons
of water dumps every so often. We did not know that and no bells and whistles
went off telling us that this did that. I took Sariah in my arms and we stood right under it, because I wanted to send her down the slide. If you do not know that 500 gallons of water
is going to dump on you---well---it hurts and it even scared me. Sariah screamed and to
this day when we go there I have a hard time keeping her or trying to get her to go in the water.
My mom got married to the guy who was her home
teacher when she lived in Moapa. He has about 6 dogs and 2 cats.
and best of all 4 of the dogs are weeinie dogs--which we love:)
Here is my mom, my four kids and the new "DAD/Grandpa:)
At the end of July we are heading to lagoon and then on to Idaho!
I will post pictures of that when we come back.
